Mel Curtin   is a Latinx author born and raised in Southern California. Mel gave up a career as a Compliance Officer to raise two special needs children and turned to writing as a creative outlet. Mel initially began writing for companies as a blog contributor creating recipes and marketing material geared toward the Latinx market. Now Mel spends any free time writing short stories, working on manuscripts, and developing the craft. You will find that Mel tends to lean toward young adult science fiction. J.I. Oxentenko is a young writer and carpenter living in Dayton, TN. He was born in Vermont and has been to every continental state, finally settling in Tennessee at the age of two. With parents that pushed for self-dependency, he took on many jobs to become familiar and proficient in these professions. From grounds work, to housekeeping, to lifeguarding, counseling, to kitchen work, VBS planning and directing, painting, and construction all having the common connecting thread of writing. Even as a young kid, J.I. Oxentenko wrote books upon books of journal entries of day-to-day life as well as dozens of short stories. Now married, he realized this common thread and began investing more time into a writing career and joined the Crazy Buffet Club to polish his skills. Published in  Crazy Buffet: Back At The Table
