Riley C. Shannon was born and raised in the Hixson, Tennessee area. She has written poetry, stories, and journal entries all her life. She is newly retired and can now dedicate more time to the craft of writing. She loves the word “snarky”, tries to see the humor in everything, and writes mainly from her life experiences.
