Cheery Friday greetings.

It turns out that Rib and Loin is going to close at 2 p.m. for the foreseeable future, but Mike's Smokehouse offers indoor and outdoor seating, a parking lot, and, most importantly, they are willing to host us from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The smokehouse is at 3147 Broad Street, near the base of Lookout Mountain. Just tell 'em the Crazy Buffet Club sent you.

I will not be able to attend because I need to meet with the Speculative Fiction group that evening, but I trust you will all have a good time. I looke forward to seeing you all again on Zoom in early July.

Chattanooga Writer's Guild 20th anniversary

    Chattanooga Writer's Guild just celebrated their twentieth anniversary. That is a great milestone for my city.  I became involved with them through joining a writer's group that meets in Hixson (well... during the pandemic online). My group produces a collection of short stories called   Crazy Buffet . The name came because the group initially met in a restaurant called the Crazy Buffet.
